My background

I studied Software Engineering at African Leadership University in Kigali, Rwanda. I’ve completed my undergraduate coursework and am waiting to graduate.

I’m quite interested in computational science, and I’m building towards a career in computational science and engineering. For now, much of my work is in machine learning and computer vision. I’d like to keep learning how these methods can help us understand scientific problems.

What I’ve been working on

At Ruzivo Research Lab, through the AutomAI Research Program, I’ve been working on removing identifying information from clinical text while keeping the information useful for research.

Outside work

I enjoy science fiction, astrophysics and music. I also write from time to time, usually about programming and things I’m learning.
